New York's educrats can't educate - now they want to hide it by ditching Regents exams
The New York State Education Department has proposed a change to high school graduation requirements, allowing students to demonstrate their learning through alternative assessments instead of passing five Regents exams.
Critics argue that this proposal is a watering down of standards and a way to give everyone a diploma without improving outcomes or addressing achievement gaps.
